The Fountain, Vivary Park Taunton

The fountain was paid for by money donated but left over from the purchasing and planting of an Oak tree in memory of Edward 7th.

The 7.5 hectares of Vivary Park was sould to the council in 1894 and laid out bu 1895. The name Viviary comes from Vivarium as the land in the middle ages was a Fish Farm/Vivarium for the Priory and Castle
