Moonbeams

I watched the moon rise above the horizon, throwing it's light across the water, as it gently lapped the shoreline.

 

As it climbed higher, a thin veil fell across the sky. A short while later, the moon disappeared altogether, under a thick blanket of cloud cover.

 

Sometimes the best things in life are free.... but with nature's performance over... it was time to go home.
