Dwarf pedunculate oak
A twisted mossy oak tree growing among large lichen covered granite boulders in Wistmans Wood, Dartmoor National Park. A remote high altitude native Oak woodland (one of the highest in England), a SSSI and NNR. The Oaks are dwarf in stature, only reaching an average height of 4.5m or 15 feet.
