Brown-capped Rosy Finch

Hey guys,

Sorry about this; this is a photo that i've been meaning to post for some time. I saw this wonderful species up at 11,000 feet in the high alpine tundra of Northern Colorado. This bird was not only the closest, but also had the most rosy sheen, so I focused mostly on it during my time photographing multiple birds up there. Seeing this species was definitely one of my favorite experiences with awesome birds, and I really hope to see rosy-finches again sometime in my life and travels.
