I know portraits aren't very popular here on Flickr, but the more I study the work of the great Steve McCurry, the more I am drawn to people and faces.
This is one of the lads who works at the local garage. His boss very kindly let me 'borrow' him for 10 minutes to get a few shots. This one was shot on my Nikon fm2n with a 50mm lens, wide open at f/1.4. The sun was setting and stronger than I would have liked, so used a 3-stop ND filter to make sure I could shoot with this apperture. I also took some shots with my Nikon f3, loaded with Agfa Precisa, but I haven't had that roll developed yet (I don't develop E6 at home!)
