Back Together
On my way home from New Haven, I got a hot tip that Housatonic NX-13 would be using a pair of Housatonic GP35's, Currently the 2 GP35's on NX13 are the only two in service. The GP35's haven't been paired together since the early fall, and due to that, the Housatonic has been running many mismatched consists with leased engines from CSX & GATX. Since I was already 2/3 of the way to Canaan, I figured it was worth taking the extra long scenic route home. Here we see NX-13 getting back up to track speed along the Housatonic River in Glendale, MA.
