Gurren Lagann
"Who the hell do you think we are?!"
In celebration of the 10 year anniversary of my favorite show ever, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, I made this model! I really wanted to do this mech justice because of how much it means to me, meaning that it has been about a year in the making...
With this model I attempted to blur the lines between the fan models I have been posting before and a more solid, playable model. With a mech this size, the joints need to be strong, yet flexible. Most of the work went into creating joints like in the ankles and shoulders. In the end, the knees are still too weak and create the main weak point for the model, but all and all, I am pretty happy.
