Requirement 1 & 2
This photo satisfies requirement 1: Use an S-Curve. I took a photo of a walking path at the Golden Garden Beach. The pathway starts off large, but then thins out as it moves father into the distance. I also framed the path between two trees because it gives the image some balance. I also shot this image with a person at the very end of the path before it continues curving behind the trees. Having a person there allows viewers to have their eyes move through the curve and end with seeing the person.
This photo satisfies requirement 2: Improve on Nature with Lightroom. I post process this image in Photoshop. I increased exposure and contrast to brighten the image. This also allowed the color of the grass to pop out more.
I increased the aperture to f/6.3 to give the image a deeper depth of field so that the foreground and the background can be sharp. I used a shutter speed of 1/50 to allow more light into the camera, but couldn't decrease the speed more because I didn't want any handheld motion to blur the image. Unfortunately I had to increase the ISO to 400 because the image was too dark and I took pictures over the weekend and the Seattle weather was very gloomy. Increasing ISO increases the light sensitivity.
