Write for Me - Guest Blogging

Are you a writer? Would you like to write for us? - Guest Blogging Submission
Hopefully, you have had a chance to look through my blog and get a feel for what I write about. I would love to have fresh perspectives, ideas, and thoughts.
Guest blogging is a wonderful way to showcase your talent to even more people than only writing for your blog. I want to connect you to blog readers, other writers, and other blog and site owners. Let us help each other network and succeed.
If you feel like you would be a good fit around here, I urge you to use the form below. To learn about what I'm looking for, continue reading.
If I decide I'd like to work with you, I'll email you back within 48 hours, and I will ask for a prepared outline of an article you'd like to submit. Here is what I am looking for when you showcase your guest blogging skills.
1. Original Content: I want your ideas and perspective on things and not someone else. Your creativity is what I am interested, and so are the readers. I cannot tolerate plagiarism, even when it comes to guest blogging; I will check. If you borrow from another source, cite it appropriately.
2. Make it Readable: Use an appropriate and professional format for blog articles. They should be easily understandable without being condescending.
3. Proof Read Your Work: Neatness does count. I want it readable by the masses, but good grammar, sentence structure, spelling, and punctuation matter. There is no excuse for lazy writing.
4. Length: Articles should be over 600 words., not including headings, captions, and titles.
5. Research and Cite: Research using reputable sources. If you are not sure of a source, ask them or find something else. When you do borrow from a source, make sure you give them credit. Either link them in the sentence, phrase, or word. Another option I will accept is a Resources or Works Cited section.
6. Credit Yourself: Write a couple of sentences about yourself. You can add a little photo of yourself if you'd like. You did the work, and I want to make sure that you are acknowledged. If you wish to guest ghostwrite, e-mail me, and we can talk about it.
7. Formatting the Draft: Write your draft post either on your blog or appropriate editor. Submit the HTML for your draft in an email to me, or as a .txt attachment. Double check for specific tags for fonts, colors, size and the like.
8. No affiliate links or photos. I will deal with that after article approval.
Now that we have that out of the way, here's the form!
