Arriva London DW101 (LJ54BGF) 412 West Croydon - Purley
Now that the 197's moved to Go Ahead these buses are very much on borrowed time (Most have moved out of TC already) 2019 seems to be the year that some of the best bus types are vanishing from London (Stagecoach's Trident's too) sad to see them all go :( But I guess it's onward to the future with whatever new technology that may bring :)
This almost went wrong and I have the driver to thank for the fact that I didn't have to wait here for over an hour for this to come back. The whole 15 minutes I was there before the bus basically nothing came out of this road and then typically as the bus was coming down the hill a van appeared and was directly in front of where I was standing. Luckily and very unexpectedly the driver stopped and let the van go and I was able to get this just as the bus started to move again so thank you very much to that driver :)
