It is show time

Reeves Pheasant... Torso puffed up. Tail spread. Wings flapping...putting up the show to impress the female RP appreciating from a distance. The Reeves's pheasant is endemic to evergreen forests of central and eastern China between 1000 to 6000 ft. It is classified as vulnerable due to loss of habitat and overhunting for it's feather which is used in Chinese. opera. RP has the longest tail at 7.9 ft. And it measures 7 ft. Hard to fit into the frame with telephoto lens so this was shot at 270mm
