IE 22204 - Dublin Connolly - Rosslare Europort - Killiney
Bij Killiney heb je als treinreiziger een fantastisch uitzicht. De treinen rijden hier gelijk langs het strand (wat echter 60 meter lager ligt) en bij heel helder weer kan je zelfs de bergen van Wales zien (die toch 110 kilometer verwijderd zijn).
Bei Killiney hat man als Zugreisender eine absolut großartige Aussicht. 60 Meter tiefer liegt der Strand, an manchen Tagen - wo es extrem klar ist - kann man sogar die Snowdonia Bergen in Wales auf 110 Kilometer Entfernung sehen.
"the view is absolutely spectacular".. That is what I was told before I took the DART from Booterstown to Bray. Upon asking what exactly was spectacular, I got "you'll see" as an answer. Well, the person who told me that was absolutely right. I will never forget the first time, riding the DART and passing Killiney beach, the word "spectacular" doesn't do it justice enough.
