Roots and expectations.

Here Mehdi is conversing with a man from his tribe in Morocco, but it seems that there is a distance between them that is probably not intended. Maybe it is because someone's expectations were dashed. Adding more drama to the interplay is Mehdi's girlfriend Leala with her hands on her head as if to say Ok guys what now?
