Quiet strength.
I admire the character combination of being able to weather adversity without complaining or bowing down to fear. Some people have this rare character combination, others, perhaps as effective have to make do as best they can. Sarene C has what I call quiet strength. She's a mountain climber. When I met her on New Year's Eve you could feel her unassuming confidence. She didn't seek limelight as I conversed with her friends who were departing in two days for a climb. When she spoke it was sparingly, in short bursts like a heavy machine gun. Instant credibility. I snapped this shot while walking under low light. You can feel her quiet strength and see her beauty too. I can imagine an unleashing of her quiet strength during a perilous climb; a torrent of skill and steel determination, commanding even the respect of the granite-faced immutable mountain!
