Early morning at Balcony Falls, Virginia standing in the shadow of the steam era steel water tank as the sun rises above the mountain tops. That sweet light silhouettes the train order signals on the C&O classic depot back on October 12, 1980. Later this day C&O 614 would turn here on an excursion out of Richmond, sadly the depot was just recently torn down.
