"Coopered"
This was the last time I observed a boxcar "Coopered" for grain loading, borrowing the description from wikipedia . ."later grain loaded in boxcars would use metal reinforced cardboard which was nailed over the door opening and could be punctured by a grain auger for unloading" . . . .
This was at Thamesville, Ontario on the Canadian National in June of 1986 and they were loading both cars, note the grain on the ground blown over the cardboard . . Love it ! !
