Superintendent Protest
The photos in this gallery were taken at a recent protest of the Birmingham City School Board’s selection of five Superintendent candidates. The protest occurred on April 12th, 2017. The opposition came because none of them were from the State of Alabama. Among those protesting were Birmingham AFT President Richard Franklin, Civil Rights Activist Calvin Woods, Birmingham City School Board Member and AFT Representative Terri Michael.
