Everest Base Camp trek- 8 Days

Everest is more than a mountain and the journey to its base camp is more than just a trek. Along a route dubbed by some as "the steps to heaven," every bend in the trail provides another photo opportunity — beautiful forests, Sherpa villages, glacial moraines, and foothills. For active adventurers not afraid to break a sweat, our full trekking support staff will bring you close to local cultures before opening a window to the top of the world.

 

ITINERARY

Day 1:Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (30 minutes) and trek to Phakding (3 hours)

Day 2:Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (5 hours)

Day 3:Trek from Namche Bazaar to Pangboche (6 hours)

Day 4:Trek from Pangboche to Tukla (5 hours)

Day 5:Trek from Thukla to Gorak Shep (5 hours) and Everest Base Camp (3 hours)

Day 6:Trek to Kala Patthar (2 hours) and trek from Gorak Shep to Pheriche (5 hours)

Day 7:Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (6 hours)

Day 8:Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (6 hours)

Day 9:Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu (30 minutes) and departure

 

Cost inclusions ($999 per person)

 

•Airport transfer on arrival and departure by private vehicles

•Meals on a full-board basis (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner, the main course) during the trek.

•One highly experienced Alpine Ramble’s government-licensed, English-speaking local guide covering meals, flight, insurance, accommodations, and equipment for the guide.

•All the necessary documents such as Everest national park Fees and TIMS card (Trekking Information Management System)

•Trekking lodges or tea house during the trek

•An assistant guide for the group of 8 pax or above

•Round trip flight from Kathmandu – Lukla - Kathmandu including applicable departure taxes

•Water purification tablets to purify your water during the trek for safe drinking water

•Supplementary snacks: energy bar, crackers, and cookies, etc.
