11.2 Pursuit of Evil

The first regiments objective to plant plant charges around the ship failed miserably, all thanks to buzz droids. We were told to pull back, but at the last second, we were quickly instructed to get into the frigate any way possible, for it was about to make the jump to hyperspace. Thankfully, most of the regiment made it. We then received orders telling us to make our way to the mess hall, where the second regiment was being utterly slammed by the seps, who were aided by a mysterious man wielding a lightsaber...a Sith. When my squad got there, it was a total mess. Droids and brothers alike were littered everywhere, and there he was. I saw him standing there in the middle of he room, crimson blade in hand, cutting down clones left and right. I told Blaze to cover my back with his z-6, and for Rash to guard him. His rocket launcher wouldn't be useful anyway. Splint and I began our slow advance toward the Sith. We took all the caution and time we needed, we didn't want to die before reaching him. And alas, there I was, standing in front of him, blaster and sword in hand. I was instantly thrown back at least 20 feet from where I originally stood. It was the first time I had felt the "force" being used against me. I got back up on my feet, I drew my sword, and advanced. I don't know why the Sith didn't just push me back again, but I didn't care to wonder at the time. I focused on the task before me, just as usual. When I stood in front of him once more, the Sith just looked at me and smiled. I will never forget that horrid, revulsive look he gave me. After I got over my sudden shock, I attacked. I swung my sword with all the might I had , and when the Sith blade came in contact with it, I was surprised hat my blade didn't break. Those Tarasins must've put something in it...Doesn't matter. We parried for some time, but I knew I couldn't keep it up much longer. I was getting weaker with each blow, and the Sith was too good a match for me. Then, I saw the Sith look away at something for a split second. I turned and saw Splint firing his blaster rifle with unimaginable precision, right at the Sith. The Sith quickly attemted to deflect the blast, which was aimed at his hand. That was a mistake. As soon as he turned, I took my blaster pistol and shot him in the back, stabbing him at the same time. Eyes widening with shock, he gasped and crumpled to the ground with a loud thump. I had done the unthinkable. The unimaginable. The impossible. I had killed a Sith.
