Callian at Blue Hour, "perched village" of Provence

I spent an enjoyable hour quietly waiting for the light to be just right, with the lights coming on in Callian as twilight fell but with enough light still to show the village setting amidst its terraces at its best. This was taken from the outskirts of Montauroux in Provence, looking across to the picturesque village of Callian. Callian is one of the perched villages of Provence. Having once been an important community, Callian has its own medieval castle perched high on the rocks, pretty homes, winding streets and flowered staircases
