"Pretty in pink"

Well, here we have my first 'galway rose' flower this year.

I spotted it blooming, all alone patiently waiting until it's mates imminent appearance, hopefully very soon now!

 

I was looking for something to photograph for (MM) this week that had some pastel colour to it.

 

So off came little pink rose to become my prop .... well, it was very lonesome up there I should imagine, so therefore I really did it a favour 😉

This rose came from a climbing variety I have growing across an archway in my garden here in Bristol.

 

This particular climbing rose tree was given to me as a gift many years ago.

 

Having a delightful fragrance and flowering profusely throughout the year, it's the pride of my garden.
