Hummingbird looked into the broken shard ....

saying .... "my, this sure looks bleak ....

all I had wished for was some sweetness for my dry empty beak ....

alas for all that I found there, I should've flown off with a loud mighty shriek."

Well, I found an old broken glass bottle neck in my garden, and after washing off all the garden grime, I used it for one of my props today.

 

The other prop was a tiny metal and crystal hummingbird that was given as a present recently.

This image was photographed for MM this week with a topic of .... "In a bottle."

 

Only natural sunlight was used to light this macro image, so I was lucky to find some here today as our weather recently had been dire .... wet, dull, overcast, hailstorm's, you name it !!!!! 💦💨💭

 

This image shown is very small, only 2.75 inches x 2.55 inches overall.
