European Robin

I spotted this nice male robin singing beautifully in the gardens of Bristol Zoo Clifton England.

I think he was one of the resident robins there?

His singing was very loud and indicated it's position to me, sweet! "I love robins"

Nature is lovely 😍

Both sexes of robins sing, but this one looks like a male robin, at this time of the year the female is plumper than the male!

She would be larger because she will be the egg layer.

I have a pair of robins in my garden and the male is a lot thinner than the female.
