South West Four 2016
South West Four 2016, or SW4 for those in the know, is an electronic music festival held in Clapham, South West London.
Named after the postcode in which it takes place, South West Four decks out Clapham Common with food stalls, bars and fairground rides as tented and open-air stages play host to some of the finest names in the world of electronic music. 2015's bill featured Faithless, Fatboy Slim and Basement Jaxx.
The weekender is now one of the capital's most famous festivals, popular with clubbers looking for one last summer dance blowout, before spilling out into the London night to party till the early morning.
2015 saw South West Four cement itself as one of Europe’s top festivals following the most ambitious year to date. The addition of the 10,000 capacity indoor main stage, the biggest indoor structure ever to be erected on Clapham Common, plus the arrival over one hundred artists for the very first time led to a monumental two day extravaganza and the best on our twelve year history.
Saturday saw Faithless reunite in celebration of their 20th anniversary, the UK debut of Fatboy Slim’s Smile High Club, the return of Maceo Plex’s Dream Don’t Sleep, DJ Magazine and The Gallery who culminated their 20th anniversary celebrations by hosting a star-studded stage.
Sunday welcomed the unmistakeable Skrillex back to headline the outdoor main stage and the DJ Magazine Arena headlined by Carl Cox vs Loco Dice and Marco Carola, RAM who presented London’s biggest ever drum and bass showcase, Together and Maya Jane Coles who hosted a festival stage for the first time.
