X Music Festival 2016 is Cardiff's biggest dance music festival held within the former grounds of Cardiff Castle, Bute Park, each June. The festival currently runs for two days across 4 stages, and has a capacity of 32,000, making it Wales' biggest music festival!
This year we will be joined by some of the greatest electronic dance, garage and grime artists in the world. It's not just about music, we want to create the best overall festival experience for our attendees. Expect additional entertainment this year from actors, artists, fun fair rides plus much more.
X Music Festival is the biggest festival in Wales, UK. A varied and high-profile lineup of dance and urban acts descends on Cardiff city centre, bringing a great party vibe to the beautiful Bute Park.
An incredible start to life in 2015 has quickly established X Music Festival as one of the most promising up-and-coming festivals in Europe, with two more high-energy days set to continue the journey on.
And after an impressive first lineup that featured everything from the finely tuned dance of Annie Mac to the urban force of Skepta, X Music Festival already packs a punch that reflects its ambition.
