and I would feel the tingle of the tiny knives of ice on my skin like those little beds of dull shiny nails, flattened for the office so you could put your hand in them and make patterns in. That's what the winter would feel like on my skin I wrote a poem about it once, it never came out right it did not have enough harpischords
