The Panzerspähwagen 38(t) functioned as command and recon vehicle in the airborne missile tank destroyer platoon.
It had a similar turret with “Luchs”, armed with a 2cm gun to against enemy infantries approaching the platoon. One ATGM was mounted on the right side of the turret.
Additional radio and star antenna improved the ability of communication during airborne missions.
