Machining the Half Shafts

These were Suzuki parts (one from a Jimny and the other from a Vitara), both were induction hardened and defeated my efforts to turn them until I annealed them back to blue colour. Both distorted slightly, but not enough to be a problem. The Vitara shaft had to be reduced in diameter, all over. Both had tapers and threads machined on to accept the new drive hubs.
