The Stage is Set
We take our first bow with great joy,
While our last bow, we do not really enjoy.
37407, 37419 and 37425 outside York Thrall (Holgate) during the evening on Sat 16th December 2023.
These are 3 out of a total of 5 Class 37’s that were included in the line up, following the end of the locomotives use on this years railhead treatment trains based at York.
The photo shoot was organised by the well respected Network Rail Director Chris Gee, and involved a huge amount of detailed preparation and organisation amongst both DRS and Network Rail, as well as numerous individuals. It was a great success and all of the proceeds raised (believed to be approx. £3,000.00) will be donated to Martin House Hospice.
