'Normal' service resumed
After the cancellation of the 05.46 Barrow - Carlisle, there was uncertainty surrounding at least one the Cumbrian coast loco hauled diagrams on 28th December.
Good news therefore when 37403 'Isle of Mull' appeared on the 11.40 Barrow-in-Furness - Carlisle service, seen here rolling into Kirkby-in-Furness to collect its solitary passenger heading north.

Note - a platform lampost has been surgically removed from the roof of the 37.
