Badlands Sunrise
I have taken a lot of Badlands NP photos since moving to Quinn, SD last summer. One of my dreams was being able to photograph every sunrise and sunset. That hasn't happened yet, but this was a morning of unforgettable color. I had a spot in mind but I didn't get there before the sky poured on the color and I knew I just had to stop and get the photo. I have missed too many shots trying to find the perfect place while Mother Nature quietly packed up her paint brushes.
Only negative was that I left my Wimberley Sidekick. Unless a coyote picked it up, a photographer got a nice unexpected gift that day.
