Ehemaliges Wohnhaus mit Gewerbeanbau der Firma C. & F. Tosetti „Nudel-Fabrik und Handlung mit oberländischen Produkten“ in der Neusser Innenstadt.
Die Fassade des Hauses, dessen Baujahr und Architekt nicht bekannt sind, wurde in einer für die Zeit um 1860 typischen Stilmischung gestaltet. Element klassizistischer, von griechischen Vorbildern beeinflusster Architektur und Bauteile die der Romanik und Gotik entliehen sind werden hier zu einem malerischen Entwurf zusammengefügt. Einen Hinweis auf die Funktion des Gebäudes, das sich zur Straße hin in die Wohnhausarchitektur des Straßenzuges einfügt, geben lediglich die beiden mittleren runden Embleme im Kranzgesims. Das linke stellt ein Zahnrad dar und verweist auf die hier betriebene Fabrikation. Das rechte ist etwas schwerer zu deuten. Es soll jedoch wahrscheinlich die Vorsatzscheibe einer Nudelmaschine darstellen, durch die die verschiedenen Nudelsorten ihre charakteristische Form erhalten. Über die weitere Entwicklung des Betriebes ist nichts bekannt. Lediglich die Vergrößerung der rückwärtigen Fabrikationsgebäude, für die 1898 ein Bauantrag eingereicht wurde, lässt auf ein florierendes Geschäft zu dieser Zeit schließen.

The facade of the house, whose year of construction and architect are unknown, was designed in a mix of styles typical of the period around 1860. Elements of classicist architecture influenced by Greek models and components borrowed from the Romanesque and Gothic periods are combined here to form a picturesque design. The only indication of the function of the building, which fits into the residential architecture of the street facing the street, is provided by the two central round emblems in the cornice. The one on the left represents a gear and refers to the manufacturing that takes place here. The one on the right is a little harder to interpret. However, it is probably intended to represent the front disc of a pasta machine, through which the different types of pasta get their characteristic shape. Nothing is known about the further development of the company. Only the enlargement of the rear production building, for which a building application was submitted in 1898, suggests that business was flourishing at that time.
