Der Mond steht der Erde besonders nahe. Wer am Montagabend (26.04.) und in der Nacht zu Dienstag (27.04.) in den Himmel blickt, der bekommt ein ganz besonderes, astronomisches Phänomen zu sehen - den Pink Moon.
Auch wenn dieser Mond als "Pink Moon" bezeichnet wird, strahlt er nicht im zarten Rosa. Er bekommt seinen Namen von der pinken Flammenblume, die ungefähr zur gleichen Zeit im April blüht.
The moon is particularly close to the earth. If you look at the sky on Monday evening (April 26th) and on Tuesday night (April 27th) you will see a very special astronomical phenomenon - the Pink Moon.
Even if this moon is called "Pink Moon", it does not shine in a delicate pink. It gets its name from the pink flame flower, which blooms around the same time in April.
