Plateau at Lissos

The Lissos Gorge starts at the little harbour of Sougia and is a short but beautiful gorge. The gorge is rich in oleanders and at some points there is a bit of scrambling involved. Spectacular is the impressive overhanging rainbow wall with beautiful colours! The route through the gorge is also the way to walk to the ancient city of Lissos, a very interesting and magical place! For that, ascend from the gorge and hike over the plateau to reach Lissos.
