The Peak District's Answer to The Sycamore Gap

Last month, I attempted to photograph the milky way using a 50mm fixed focal length lens. My chosen subject was a tree in top of a hill within a gap (similar to sycamore gap in Northumberland) located just outside of Castleton.

My wife originally spotted this composition months ago, so I thought I'd have a go at aligning the milky way behind the tree.

I'm pretty pleased with the overall result though.
