A chalk path, Aldbourne, Wiltshire, England

This path seems to be full of history, winding its way around obstacles which no longer exist. Or perhaps it follows the course of ancient streams long since disappeared into the chalk. The path leads to a 5,000-year-old trading route that runs along the tops of the hills on the horizon. I'd love to know if both paths are the same age.
