Heavy Lift Helicopter

The NAFC HL-60 is a powerhouse of industrial, military and civilian operations. Most models are equipped with a clamp compatible with any standard shipping crate or "sea can". While industrial and civilian models are often interchangeable, military models come equipped without any windows and more advanced equipment. These models feature a network of sensors and a neural interface to effectively turn the pilot and aircraft into a single entity. Giving the pilot a sense of being the aircraft than simply flying it. This also has the advantage of a sturdier fuselage and more protection from projectiles. Other than that, all models are equipped with twin high output electric motors and large battery banks throughout the central part of the fuselage. The intakes are reminiscent of fuel burning aircraft but are simply for cooling. All in all, this is an extremely reliable and common aircraft that often falls into the background for most people. Save for the occasional aircraft enthusiast or logistics operator. Just a machine that keeps things going.

This model was a lot of fun to design. It started with the agricultural livery (the white, green, orange, and blue scheme). That version was basically 100% done before I designed the police/military version. The agricultural version was meant to be a break from my darker builds. But I thought the idea of a vehicle being used basically everywhere in my universe would be cool enough to put in the extra effort. And I gotta say, I love how these two look together. The construction is fairly simple. No real out there techniques. Just a lot of SNOT to create the shaping. Still, very happy with how they turned out.
