Se le conoce como Pinky. Desde el 2009, llegó al pueblo de Camuy. Se ha convertido una atracción turística. Se pensaba que, con el paso del Huracán María del 2017, había muerto, pero gracias a Dios, está vivo. El gobierno está buscando la manera traer más de esta especie ya que Pinky sigue sola. Aunque ya surgida información de que para el área este de Puerto Rico han visto varios Flamingos. Espero que sea el inicio de una generación nueva de flamingos puertorriqueños.
