Sidewalk views: Friendship - or: Gang of Five

 

Strolling around at Prater in Vienna, one of my friends wanted to take us to a nice photo stop nearby, to the campus of the "Vienna University of Economics and Business" ("Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien" or "WU Wien" in short, as it is called in German). He told us, that there's lots of modern architecture, especially the "Library & Learning Center" (LLC), which was planned by the famous architect Zaha Hadid.

 

So we walked there - and in fact, it was breath taking, especially with the bright, sunny weather! This architecture made us wish go back to academic studies as our former campus in a different town was by far less inspiring.

 

I somehow liked the wavy lines from the architecture, the hard shadows and the accidentally nice alignment of the five fellow students - I assume they are friends, as they were in good mood chatting.
