The Noisy History of Small Things

The First real excursion into extreme close up. A lot of work to be done. Used a 18mm-55mm Kit lens with extention tubes. Next time I'll use fixed lens which should give more clarity.

I used a ring light of LED's but with tubes and, I guess, diopters you are too close to the subject of any real benefit. It might work better if you can afford a dedicated macro lens but if you can afford that you can afford dedicated macro lighting.

But none of the equipment concerns are any substitute for the adventure of work and patience
