Inverted Dusk

I had high hopes for this photo of what I thought was an interesting tree... Unfortunately, as much as I liked it, it was a bit blurry around the edges... I didn't want to scrap it, so I started tweaking it... The hues were too extreme.. no... the contrast was off... etc... etc... etc... before long, there was no turning back.. it was horribly ruined.... so I inverted the mess... here's what came of that...
