John Wick: Chapter 2 Movie Review!

So today, I finally was able to watch John Wick: Chapter 2. I've been really busy with school work and have not had the time to go see it till this weekend, so I apologize for this review being so late.

 

Anyways, John Wick: Chapter 2 is awesome. Once again, the action scenes are top notch. The opening scene for this film is so good and really gives you a feel for how the rest of the movie will play out. It feels just like the first one too, which is really nice also. Remember the club scene in the first John Wick? Well there's kinda sorta three of those types a scenes in this movie, just long super badass action sequences.

 

Then the performances in this movie are pretty good too, it's not like it's a vital thing for this type of movie, but it's nice to have some decent performances. Keanu Reeves just owns this role as John Wick and it is very impressive since he does most of his own stunts and fight scenes.

 

As for negatives for this movie, it kinda follows how the first one was sometimes a little too much, which isn't all that bad, since I literally love the first John Wick movie. But that's about it.

 

So overall John Wick: Chapter 2 is a great follow up to its predecessor and I had a great time watching it theaters and can't wait to get it on bluray. And can't wait for the third film. So I give John Wick: Chapter 2 an A-!

 

I want to make a top 10 fight sequence list. Of like multiple minute long beat em up scenes, but it's kinda hard to find 10, so if you guys have any suggestion, leave them in the comments and tell me what you thought of John Wick: Chapter 2!
