Jason Bourne Movie Review

Tonight I went out and saw Jason Bourne. Now was it as good as the original Bourne trilogy? No. But was it better than Bourne Legacy? You betcha.

Now based off of my Top 10 Favorite Movie Trilogies, the Bourne Trilogy is one my favorites and this movie makes it my favorite "quadrilogy".

As always, the fight scenes are top notch, Paul Greengrass' shaky cam style of filming is great in this movie and as for the rest of the Bourne films (everything I'm saying about the Bourne films, I'm excluding The Bourne Legacy). Every second of the movie that takes place in, Athens, London, and Las Vegas are great and I literally mean every single second.

The performances also from Matt Damon, Tommy Lee Jones, and Alicia Vikander are very good.

Now, I have only one main with this movie. The whole social network subplot. It's not in the movie very long and it does lead into one my favorite scenes from the movie, but earlier in the movie it really slows down the pacing of the movie and stops you from the Jason Bourne action we all want to see. There's obviously other complaints and errors in the movie or things I personally didn't care for, but since they are small and a waste of time to talk about I'm not gonna get into them.

I'm hoping that they will make another Bourne film, staring Matt Damon and that they easily could on how they ended this movie, I'm gonna give Jason Bourne an A-.
