False Day Flower Second view, Texas Wildflower

False Day Flower (Commelinantia anomala). False Day Flower (Commelinantia anomala). This beautiful Native Texas Wildflower is another flower that many consider a weed. The beautiful green foliage pops up early in Spring and grows quickly. It self-seeds and will spread, but is not invasive and can easily be removed with its shallow roots if unwanted. This cluster of flowers is growing at the base of my climbing rose trellis and adds wonderful green color with spots of the small face-like flowers. Two different views. I like both, so posted both. Which one do you like best?
