Bryophyllum delagoensis (tubiflorum) at sunset
Best viewed LARGE! Called the Mother of Millions or Mother of Thousands, or Pregnant Plant, this plant produces baby plants along the edeges of its leaves. These babies drop off and proliferate wildly. They are invasive and called weeds by some people, but when they bloom as this one did, the blooms are small but beautiful. The blossoms are about an inch long and only about 3/8" across, trumpet shaped, but beautiful with their shades of purple, coral, yellows, and reds. These were photographed in the light of sunset with a large Selenite crystal as a backdrop.
