The Large Magellanic Cloud and the Tarantula Nebula

This is the Large Magellanic Cloud, a dwarf galaxy close to our own.

 

The green nebula is the Tarantula Nebula.

 

There are many other star clusters and nebulae in this photo, too many to mention!
