Matterhorn, West Face

Is this the most beautiful mountain I've seen in the Alps? The answer is: "Yes! Undoubtedly".

Nothing can compete with the charm of the Matterhorn (4.478 m), here admired in its majestic wall facing west, under the merciless and blinding light of the glaciers. The Stockji glacier to be exact.

Unfortunately, this point of view is not just "around the corner" otherwise I would always be there photographing this natural wonder.
