Slight variation in terms of framing and composition than the previous image.
Night shot, taken from Colle Nivolet (2.612 m), Gran Paradiso National Park, Italy, looking in direction of the Grande Aiguille Rouge (3.482 m), taking advantage of the play of artificial light coming from two dams below: lake Serrù and Agnel.
In addition, to the east (left of the photo), the rising Moon began to provide some extra soft lighting.
The large rock in the foreground seemed really proper to symbolize the idea of a creature of the night.
Spot reached after several hours hiking, because the road was still blocked down below in the valley, due to the snow.
