Frozen Ridges
A chilling view towards Punta Charrà (2.844 m), as seen from the slopes of Guglia Rossa, Vallée Étroite (France).
The bluish mantle, totally in shade, is the snow-covered ridge of the Guglia di Mezzodì.
Daylight was beginning to wane, and even the weather began to get worse considerably... nevertheless, being able to observe these ridges in a completely different livery from how they look during the warmer months of the year has definitely made worth the visit.
Here I took advantage of a fleeting ray of light, otherwise the landscape had assumed conformations already quite ominous and bleak.
