The Big Blue Wave
Picture taken during the blue hour exactly at the same altitude of a huge bank of clouds hovering in the air, consequently the landscape was appearing and disappearing all the time.
In the distance you can see the lights of the Auronzo Hut (Dolomites), Italy.
Just behind it's visible the mount Cristallo, while slightly on the left, almost in the center image, you can find a tiny dot, it's planet Venus newly risen perfectly to the southeast (in the high-resolution file it's even visible the green halo shrouding the entire planet, certainly due to the highly reflective clouds of sulfuric acid).
While the group of peaks "floating" on the left belongs to the Cadini of Misurina. From left to right we have the Siorpaes Tower, just the tip of the Cimon de Croda Lissa and of course the Cima Cadin di San Lucano with the Forcella del Nevaio, which is, by the way, exactly the very same spot shown more closely in my previous photograph.
